The Blind Scorekeepers
My first solo book project, entitled The Blind Scorekeepers, examines the role played by polls and surveys how journalists portray public opinion. It is an extension of my dissertation, a recipient of both the American Political Science Association’s E. E. Schattschneider Award (2018) and the Thomas E. Patterson Award (2017) for the best dissertation in American government and political communication, respectively.
The book manuscript remains a work in progress, and I plan to update this page with more information about it as the project moves closer to completion.
